Artist Statement
I am a student of life and art. Both have beauty and I like to capture as much of them as I can.

Artist Bio
I have always loved to draw from an early age I seemed to be able to capture the likeness of a subject. But, it was not until I retired in 1998 that I become an active artist. In the recent years I have shown my work at local resturants in Michigan and at galleries in Florida. I was once an oil painter and will always have that touch, but now I am more of a watercolor painter. Many of my painting resemble oil, but are in watercolor. I am not lilmited to one media and enjoy new ideas. One of my favorite methods is ink/watercolor on rice paper like batik on cloth. As long as I can hold a brush, I will be painting or sharing my thoughts on painting
